About Lucas

Hi! I am Lucas Swanson, a senior in the Kelley School of Business at IUPUI, studying Marketing and Supply Chain Management. I will be graduating in May 2021 and become an incoming Operations Area Manager at Amazon.

I am currently an Alumni of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity after previously holding the Executive position of Recorder and Standards Board. I joined the fraternity my first semester of freshman year and am proud to have met such great friends and to learn the true meaning of what it means to be a True Gentleman. Through the fraternity, I have attended Jagathon, which is IUPUI’s Riley Children’s Dance Marathon. We help raise money for Riley Children’s Hospital all year and celebrate with some of the kids in dancing for 15 hours straight.

I am a big fan of the NFL and cheer for my hometown team, the Indianapolis Colts. I love spending time with my family watching sports or movies. Some of my favorite movies are Saving Private Ryan, the Star Wars series, The Irishman, Avengers End Game, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, and Forrest Gump. Some of my favorite shows are Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, and currently The Mandalorian.

Throughout my work and school experience, I have developed skills for providing excellent customer service, working efficient individually or in a team, outstanding time-management, and experience in Microsoft Office. Throughout my work and school history, I have gained many new skills and learned many different things, but I am still eager to learn and improve on myself everyday.
